What Insurance Products Does Counterpart Offer?

Counterpart provides specialized insurance solutions focused on protecting small businesses and their leadership teams from a wide range of operational, legal, and professional risks. Our offerings span both Management Liability and Professional Liability lines.

Management Liability

These coverages protect executives, owners, and their companies from claims related to the management of the business:

  • Employment Practices Liability (EPL)
Covers claims made by employees alleging discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and other workplace-related issues.

  • Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability
Protects directors, officers, and decision-makers from personal liability related to their management decisions, including breach of fiduciary duty, mismanagement, or regulatory violations.

  • Fiduciary Liability
Covers claims arising from errors or mismanagement of employee benefit plans (e.g., 401(k), health insurance), including failure to act in the best interest of plan participants.

  • Crime (CRM) Coverage
Provides protection against losses resulting from internal and external criminal acts such as employee theft, fraud, forgery, and social engineering scams.

Professional Liability

Counterpart also offers coverage designed to protect professionals and service providers from liability related to their business activities:

  • Miscellaneous Professional Liability (MPL) with General Liability (GL)
Tailored for a wide range of service-based businesses, this coverage protects against claims of negligence, errors, or omissions in the delivery of professional services. The inclusion of General Liability provides broader protection, including bodily injury and property damage.

  • Allied Health Professional Liability
Designed specifically for non-physician healthcare professionals and businesses—such as therapists, home health aides, or medical technicians—this coverage protects against claims of malpractice or errors in the provision of healthcare services.
